Snuffuleuphogas?

So Ryder was born with these amazing eyelashes..

I swear they must impair his vision. Its definitely the most common comment I get about him- "Wow! he has INSANE eyelashes!" (They've even been called freakish, but I ignore that...)

I think they're beautiful. And I sure as heck hope if I ever have a girl she'll have them too.

Walking with the DINOSAURS!

So for part of his birthday present, Jory's loving grandparents bought their dino-obsessed grandchild tickets to see "Walking with the Dinosaurs Arena Spectacular" It was tons of fun and Jory was in awe the entire night. For those of you out of the loop, it is a show with life-sized robotic dinosaurs who walk and talk and move like (we think) real dinosaurs did. I have to admit, I knew it'd be cool, but I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. It was truly impressive and the pictures don't do it justice. Jory got some T-rex arms before the show so he felt like he was hanging out with his friends. He was so excited for the T-rex to come out (and of course it was the last one) so Jory kept sniffing the air all night and saying "I smell a T-rex mom, I think a T-rex is coming!!! Do you smell it?" I'd then sniff the air and pretend that I could smell the T-rex too :)

It was a dream come true for our 4 year old!!

Easter Fun!!!

We had a wonderful easter/conference weekend. We started out with some delicious cupcakes:

Jory was a big helper, but Ryder mostly destroyed them :)

I bought myself some AMAZINGLY BRIGHT flowers from Costco. They make me happy

We colored Easter Eggs:

The boys woke up and the easter bunny had brought them some awesome stuff, and then they ran around finding eggs.

I attempted to make easter egg pancakes. They're a little lumpy. haha

And my cousin Dustin was over the whole weekend! The boys had a lot of fun with crazy Dustin. (and check out the awesome "Dude" bunny we got him..haha)

We also watched conference all day and made a huge easter dinner and dessert for my family. Overall, it was an average, but wonderful easter and we had a lot of fun. We are very blessed right now and couldn't be more grateful.

Ryder wasn't feeling too well, so Ryder won. About 5 minutes after I turn on Barney, Jory comes in and says, "You can turn on Chuggington now, Barney is over." ( I know this can't be because I only started it 5 minutes ago....) "What happened to Barney?" I ask. Jory replies: "The kids didn't want to play with Barney today, so they went somewhere else to play and the show is over." Hehe. NICE TRY JORY :)
